THE LiLIES TOUR [part 2]

I am back as promised with the second part of the lilies tour. If you are new and want to know the beginning of this story, you can discover it here.
Well, the lilies journey goes on with me and my friend Lara holding them whilst we continued wondering in the evening from gallery to gallery of the Contemporary Art Fair.

We unfortunately missed Yumi Karasumaru's performance 'The story teller' as the ex church where it took place was far too crowded for 2 girls holding a far too large bouquet of lilies. I just had a glimpse of her body dressed in white kimono where beautiful images where projeted on. She was telling stories about the dark side of japan, but sadly I cannot tell you much more about it.

Next stop was at the Art Academy, where I graduated in painting a far too long time ago. I think I did not enter the building for ages and it was nice to see the changes and the exhibition taking place: Autoritratti I. Nuove Gen(d)erazioni: a journey on the relationship between women and art in Italy.

By then it was late in the night and my flowers made it difficult for me to take more pictures - even though it must be said they rewarded me all the time with a wonderful scent, so I forgive them.

+ You can see in pictures 2|3|4|5|Dimenticanze(forgetfulness) by Simona Paladino. As I love old pictures, I could not not appreciate the poetry of old photographs worked on by hand or digitally, nor the tiny cut-outs of little girls popping out here and then on the walls  of the building or on plain colored by pencil canvas.

I unfortunately forgot to take note about the authors of the works shown in pictures 8 and 9. If someone reading knows, please let me know and i will credit them immediately. Anyway I will investigate further and let you know more about it if I can.
Also, stay tuned for more of part 3 of the lilies night out.
